Summer Scroungers
An exciting Summer Scroungers wound down at the end of April and we invite everyone to join us for our Winter Sunday Scroungers events
Winter Sunday Scroungers
Started Sunday 5th May 2023 and will continue each & every Sunday morning (weather permitting) until September 2023.
Nomination Fee $10 per player and names to be received by 9:30am for a 10am start. Cash prizes awarded on conclusion of the event.
Beginners, visitors & new members welcome! Kitchen opens for breakfast from 8:00am so drop in for a gander and partake in a coffee or meal with friends.
Club Presentation Night 2024
A wonderful night celebrated by all and congratulations to the winners & achievers. Once again our delightful MC – Ray Findley opened the proceedings with his wit & charm to the delight of the crowd. The 3 course meal catered by Chau – Plain Street Kitchen was delicious as always. Many thanks to our Bowls Committee for organising the night – job well done! During the season the players actions were studied and replayed in a “guess who” display by Leanne Marchi – well done Leanne and you were pretty close with all of them!
Congratulations to the Club Person for 2023-24 season – well deserved Stan Curtis who came in to look after our Corporate Bowlers and offer a hand whenever needed. Also many thanks to wife Shirley who spent a lot of time in the rose garden. Needless to say, there were many other worthy persons for this award for all the help given around the Club – thank you to everyone – we couldn’t do it without you!

Barefoot Bowls
Why not book your next function to include a game of Barefoot Bowls!! It is an exhilarating & fun game for everyone. All equipment provided and a brief tuition is demonstrated by our experienced bowlers. A great idea for a celebration, team building exercise or just a down-right challenge with your mates. Womens’ Champion of Champions 2022/23
Congratulations to Perth & Tattersalls bowler Lisa Smith in reaching the finals of the 2022/23 Women’s Champion of Champions Singles and finishing Runner-up to Chris Ace-Watkins. The finals series games were played at a very high standard and Lisa didn’t disappoint against the 2021/22 Women’s Champion of Champions Singles Winner. Well done Ladies!
National Events Participation
Our members are not shy in competing in National events. Paul & Lisa Smith at the Adelaide Masters Singles over Easter. Terry McCormack & Jason Godden competing locally at Osborne Park in the Pairs & Singles and an exodus of bowlers headed to the Gold Coast to play in the Australian Turf Bowlers Carnival.
The 2023 Australian Open held in Queensland during June had many entrants from WA including a few of our very own members – Lisa & Paul Smith and Leanne Marchi & Ron “Rowdy” Nelson. Leanne & Rowdy were successful taking out 3rd place in the Mixed Pairs and Rowdy played well during his matches but sadly just missing out on progressing to the next level. Perth & Tattersalls are proud to have them represent their Club. Results were available at 2023 Australian Open draws now available! – Bowls Australia
